Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was super busy, but super fun! On Saturday, we met friends for a really nice dinner then hopped over to Post Office Square area to celebrate our friend Taryn’s birthday! We went to the Bushwood Cocktail Club which is a cute little bar full of arcade games and board games. My friends and I became surgeons via the game Operation after being a few drinks in 😛

Then yesterday we went to our very first Patriots game! S is a die hard so for his wedding gift, I got him some awesome tickets. He had never been as a fan and only for work. He’s a CPA and when he worked for the Big4, his main client were the Pats. It was so cute seeing him so excited and the Patriots won! Woop.

Uh also – can you even believe that this week marks the start of NOVEMBER?! I’m one of “those” people that start playing holiday music at the beginning of October, so once November comes around I feel like I don’t need to hide my holiday spirit anymore. S walked out one morning to me baking pumpkin whoopie pies for my work a month ago jamming to Buble and I was like ‘ Yes this is who you married’ and I’ve been begging to put up the Christmas tree ever since. Now that we have a faux tree ins’t of real, I somehow get him to agree on digging it out the first weekend of November and guess what this weekend is?! YAY My real excuse is that I need it for my blog content which is always one to two months ahead of the current season, so I’m lucky to have such an understanding business partner 😉

Now that I chatted your ear off, let’s talk about this cozy look.

I’ve been living in this sweater because it’s such a soft material, versatile color and an AWESOME fit. The front is a bit cropped and a little shorter than the back. Typically the proportions for tops with this fit do not work for me, but this one is just right and super cute. I’m wearing my normal size. It was a no brainer to pair it with my favorite chinos that I can’t stop talking about [fit TTS], perfect suede mules and all time favorite crossbody. To bring in a pop of personality, I threw on this budget-friendly scarf that’s only $10! The material is light, making it the perfect transitonal piece to throw on with sweaters like I am today or with a fall jacket.

I hope you like this affordable look! Thanks so much for reading! Xo Mindy
