Let’s talk boots shall we? Here in the Northeast boots are an essential. When it’s cold seven months of the year, you need your options! While there are many more than four types of boots I think woman need to own, these four cover the basics. 1. RIDING BOOTS: Classic. A sleek pair of black riding boots can dress up a pair of blue jeans and a knit, while a cognac pair with perfect for strolling through your weekend. I prefer riding boots that don’t have straps or buckles, so the options above are all clean, minimalist options. The heel elongated your leg and really dresses up an outfit so you can keep those feet warm while also looking chic. Ditch the heels that leave your feet exposed and grab a pair of these.

3. FLAT BOOTIES: Then on the other side of the spectrum, you don’t want a heel every day of the week! These suede booties have been a life saver this season. If you’re looking at booties without a heel, I suggest learning towards a pointed toe rather than a rounded toe so that your legs are elongated and don’t appear stumpy. Even with long legs like me I take that into consideration.

4. Over The Knee BOOTS: More specifically, black OTK boots. From dresses, to white skinnies or layering over leggings – these babies are so universal!
